B.A.S.H. Burger and Sushi House

Delicious. We've been trying to get here for over a year and it was worth the wait. The atmosphere is chill and the servers are nice.

Fantastic food, great service, fun atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, very clean, and modern. Looks like it seats about 150. Which is where the issues began. Arrived at 7 and had 45 min wait for a table (totally acceptable) we looked a menu while waiting and ordered almost as soon as we sat down. Food took over an hour to arrive, we ate just before 10. Food was delicious, but not worth the wait. Second pretty big issue was the restrooms. For a restaurant that large they only had 3 individual restrooms. At anytime during the evening I could look up and see 8-10 customers forming a line into the dining area. But, again, once you made it inside very modern fixtures and fairly clean (considering the foot traffic). Will go again, just not on a weekend.

Excellent food and service! We had a BASH Burger, bacon mac and cheese, an assortment of nigiri, a roll, and the crab roll appetizer. Everything was delicious and worth getting again. I tried the lemongrass cocktail and loved it; sweet and sophisticated lemongrass flavor. On the weekend, avoid peak meal times if you want to get seated right away; this place is busy!

Extensive menu... something for everyone and the food was great. Service was a little slow due to Sat night crowd, but servers were very friendly. I am definitely looking to go back.

You could probably go here for months.... With the variety of food, you would never get board Very Urban look and feel. Menu is very diverse and extreme... Very little normal: things from sushi to burgers.Nicely created flavor pallets that turn normal items to taste new and freshly exciting... One of the most interesting and sensory expedition for a great enjoyable food experience.Servers are attentive, music isn't loud and your can actually talk in a group without raising your voice and trying to hear each other.A step up in serving hardware and fixtures... It's interesting.I will go back whenever I'm on the area.

Atmosphere was very contemporary and sleek. The staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Fixed a problem with the order with no question. Food was really creative and flavorful. Thanks for the dinner from a passer-through.

Absolutely AMAZING! The food is incredible, staff is amazing & decor/ambiance is stellar. I love the sustainably factor in their dishes & flatware. They even ask if you want straws. Very cool in my book. Definitely try the crab rangoon. They're out of this world!

Place was neat and clean. Roomy. Has a sushi bar in back, and regular bar centrally located in the middle. I had apps, the sushi and a roll. Looked and smelled fresh. Tasted good. Some had burgers. Didn't hear any complaints. All plates were empty.

Great food, will definitely be back! The lobster rolls appetizer was awesome. Burgers were top notch! Had the Thai donuts for dessert and I can't wait to have them again!

A unique place with great atmosphere. I got their sushi which was excellent. My wife got a burger and loved it as well.

There was a long wait (about an hour) but we waited at the bar so the time went by pretty fast. The staff was very friendly, the food arrived quickly, and it was delicious! According to my husband, B.A.S.H. has the best octopus he's tasted since he moved here from Spain!

Best sushi on the area for sure. Even the salads are all amazing. The salmon salad I got off the happy hour menu was wonderful. The crabby salad was super good as well. Uncomfortable chairs & too tight of tables, maybe someday they will expand. But worth it for the food. Mixed drinks are just okay. I stick with wine when I'm there anymore. Fried ice cream here is amazing! My daughter loved it so much I'm sure we're going to be back just for that!

The new location is great. Great food, the metal chopsticks are hard to pick things up though.

This place is amazing. The food was delicious. Everything was piping hot, or cold. The drinks were very good. And desert was great. Our waitress was attentive and speedy. I don't think I have had a bad meal at any restaurant in Ottawa, Illinois!!

Food was good . Took almost 2 hours to get food . With this covid stuff going on.

So they have more than just amazing burgers and sushi! They is probably about 5 different menus from drinks to specials and desserts and the main menu. If you havent been give it a try. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Thanks for a great night:)

Fun little spot right off the square in Ottawa. Went for lunch on a Saturday and was seated right away. There's a HUGE menu so there's something for everyone. They specialize in both burgers and sushi, which is a fun twist from what you normally see in restaurants. Would recommend!

B.A.S.H has something for (almost) everyone. It's packed with plenty of helpful staff and the food and drinks are the best around the area. Price is a bit high but the quality and freshness of everything makes the price worth it. Whether you are going out for a celebration or just want to eat something really good, you can't go wrong with B.A.S.H.

The sushi is what come here for and they don't disappoint. Even when there might be a hiccup they will take care of you. Thank you Alex (bartender).

Super fun! Food was really yummy! Wait was a bit ridiculous!

Great food! Got right in on a Tuesday night, no wait! We shared so we tried the edamame, truffle fries, Two Rivers roll, Volcano roll, ALL amazing. Also got Lobster Mac & Cheese to take home for lunch and it is amazing too. I appreciate the Eco friendly 2go containers as well because I despise Styrofoam and wish it was outlawed. The only reason not a 5 star rating is the Bloody Mary was too hot and the room is too cold. I will dress in more layers & order Sangria next time.

I was speculative of a resteraunt that is both a burger joint and a sushi place, but to my surprise it worked out very well. I had the shroomin' mozz with a side of their fries and it was delicious! Highly recommend the burger. I also ordered their shrimp tempura, and again it was great. Service was well and the vibe felt alive.

Dinner on a Saturday night - long wait but well worth it. Fantastic, adult-modern atmosphere, bringing Chicago life to Ottawa. Friendly staff and quick service. Recommend sitting at the sushi bar (groups of 2-4 people).

Very nice place, waitress & chef accommodated my daughter’s long food allergy list to make her a sushi she could eat. Spacious place to bring with you a large group of friends. Will have to go back to try the burgers.

They always have such great service here, and would check up on the table many many times. The food is done to perfection, and the decor is impeccable.

We love the burgers here! Don't live in Ottawa but plan to stop when we're in the area. Unique flavors, ability to build it how you like it, and tasty patties.

Best place to eat in Ottawa. We were here for a week and found this place towards the end of our trip. It was so good we ate there the last two nights we were in town. Hands down the best sushi and burgers were amazing as well.

The atmosphere was great. The decor was contemporary and open yet fairly warm.The wait staff was excellent...attentive and helpful.Most of the food was delicious, however my burger and my dinner mate's burgers were both quite overdone.Also, there are two separate kitchens. One for sushi and one for hot food. The serving times were off by 30+ minutes. This meant burgers came and were eaten long before sushi even made it to the table.This made for a very uncomfortable dining experience with some people having food and others getting frustrated and hangry waiting for their food. Then when their food arrived, they felt rushed to not make the hot food eaters wait for them to eat.If they could get the kitchens aligned better and learn to properly cook a hamburger, this could easily be a five star review in the future.Delightful, helpful server and great "mess" nachos were the highlights.

The new BASH location is awesome! The food was delicious. I had the tuna tower... Amazing! The staff was great from the hostess, to the waitress, to the server... All had smiles and asked if there was any thing more they could do for us. Very impressed. We'll be back!

We at Skydive Chicago are big fans of B.A.S.H. and have been for years. It's great food, great service, and always a good time. Recently, we took some time to have a Staff Outing in their new establishment. From start to finish, B.A.S.H. took care of everything and did it in style. The new facilities are simply amazing. It's beautiful, modern, and has a fantastic outdoor seating area. If you want to have a private event, then take advantage of their new private room. We had 60 people show up to our event and the room handled it perfectly. Thanks to all the staff and management and chefs who made our outing a complete success. We will be back, B.A.S.H. Count on it!

This place is really nice and the food is great. Been here few times already and so far no complaints.

Loved it! After a few miles of walking in the nearby Starved Rock State Park, I was good and hungry, and their Lobster Mac filled me up nicely, accompanied by a fresh green side salad. Fair prices, and a great selection, even for the vegetarian in our group. Glad we came.

Not a Sushi fan, but BASH has amazing burgers. So many to name with all kinds of toppings. You can get some awesome Mac & Cheese too. Plus who doesn’t love Cocktails, beer and wine? Ottawa is lucky to have this place. Nice patio area plus modern inside.

Food was great. However, bring your jacket, hat and gloves. It was very cold in the restaurant. We asked the wait staff about it and apparently it's a very common complaint.

The food is fantastic. Great atmosphere. The only thing that could be better is the service. They lack a bit with checking on their tables to make sure their customers have what they need. Other than that, great!

One of my favorite restaurants and well worth the drive! They have great gluten free options! I suggest getting there before 5 if you don't want to wait long!

A great place to eat. Atmosphere is very warm & a lil modern, for a "rural" area. I loved it. The food was great & so was our service. Prices range from $7-20. I will definitely go there again.

Very interesting place. Great space, food and service. We order a boat but it was a bit too much for three people. The desert was the best at least for me, am not a sushi person but sushi was very good.

Best sushi and burgers in the area. Create your own burger options are infinite! The most savory mac and cheese. Try dessert too...if you have room! You will leave full and satisfied. 👍🏼

My husband loves seafood and they offered everything. The service was great!!! Server was Nathan I had burger and it was amazingly good. Hashbrowns on it and taste great. No place like this around. Atmosphere wonderful. Full of people. Go there you'll love it even if you have to wait.
